The Pentium Pro was the first processor to have Intel’s i686 architecture, the beginning of what would be a successful line of CPUs for Intel. However depending on who you spoke to, and the software they where running, views on the Pentium Pro could range from it being a great CPU, to it performing terribly. For the software load most PC users ran, the Pentium Pro could be considered a bit of a Lemon, but why, and was that view correct ?
